German cockroach programs are built for the pest that returns in week five when someone only sprayed. Treatment uses gel baits and non-repellent applications placed directly into the harborage — hinge voids of upper cabinets, the motor housing of the dishwasher, behind the refrigerator compressor, the underside of drawer rails, and the void where the countertop meets the wall — because aerosol repellents push the population deeper into wall voids and split it in two. Programs run two to three visits, 10 to 14 days apart, at $375 to $850 total, since egg capsules survive any single application and hatch on their own schedule.
